Paje by Night Hotel is a fabulous little place one hour’s drive from the airport and in the Paje village. A small hotel which oozes character and charm offering clean and basic accommodation in one of the most pristine beaches on the south east coast of Zanzibar.
Managed by the gregarious Marco and his fun loving staff the hotel is full of fun and perfect for clients wanting something different. You're bound to love him and feel instantly relaxed. The barmen and waiters are equally vibey and great to be around, making Paje's bar, open 24 hours a day, the social hub of the area, hence the name Paje by Night.
Accommodation consists of various types of bungalows in the following categories - deluxe bungalows; king-size bungalows; family bungalows and standard bungalows. In addition the Jungle Bungalows are built in stone and wood with a thatched makuti roofs with verandas. All the rooms are very comfortable, clean and tidy with ceiling fans and mosquito nets, en-suite bathrooms with showers (only two do not have hot water). Just a minute’s walk will take you to the beautiful beach and the crystalline waters of the Indian Ocean.
Paje by Night has a fun-loving bar, open 24 hours, serving cocktails, pizza and snacks. Socialize here with the other guests. Thee is a games area to play pool and table-football. The excellent restaurant with an à la carte menu serves fish, Italian and Swahili dishes until 22h00.
A new addition to the hotel is the small massage area.
